Maddi’s Review:

Simon and 4 other students of Bayview Secondary School are all stuck in detention. But, before the end of the day, Simon is dead. And it wasn’t an accident. All 4 students have reasons for wanting Simon dead and all were capable of murdering him. Full of twists and turns, ups and downs and clues leading in all different directions. “One of Us is Lying” is wonderfully written. The novel by Karen M. Mcmanus is full of loose threads that slowly weave themes together. The reader will be wondering until the very end: who actually killed Simon?
