About Alison Higgins
Alison Higgins works from her West Vancouver studio. She takes inspiration from nature and the parade of changing seasons that she views from her window. She collects rare and unusual items whilst traveling and tries to let the materials speak for themselves, navigating their own design. She works with sterling silver, precious metal clay, copper, brass, vintage metals, semi-precious stones, shell, pearls, fossils and glass. Alison believes that every piece tells its own story and has its own history. She creates beautiful, unique jewellery, to be treasured by all.
